The competition in the mobile processor market is intensifying. MediaTek recently introduced its Dimensity 9400 chipset, and Qualcomm is set to respond with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (Snapdragon 8 Elite) on October 21. Recent reports reveal the first smartphones that will be powered by the upcoming processor.
First Smartphones Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4
Experience More, known for its industry leaks, claims that following Qualcomm’s unveiling of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, brands such as Xiaomi, OnePlus, iQOO, and Honor will quickly introduce their smartphones featuring this new chipset.
While it’s currently uncertain which smartphone manufacturers will adopt the processor, speculations are focusing on the Xiaomi 15 series. This will likely be followed by the launch of the iQOO 13, OnePlus 13 and Honor Magic 7 models.
Another reliable source, Digital Chat Station, has noted that smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 are expected to be unveiled between October 28 and October 30, echoing Experience More’s claims.
